NewThing & FORGE Forging New Paths

Kim Hammond, National Director of Forge America, has been working with COMMUNITY as the Director of Missional Imagination for the past year.  As a part of a 3 fold strategy, we are excited to annouce that Kim and FORGE (founded by Alan Hirsch, author of The Forgotten Ways), have recently begun working more closely with our NewThing Churches.  

In fact, over the next 3 months, Kim will be training, speaking and inspiring our churches to think more clearly about what it means for them to be churches on mission.  Here's a just a few of the places Kim and FORGE will be at:

• Kansas City, MO
• Louisville, KY
• Knoxville, TN
• Detroit, MI
• Tallahassee, FL 

This strategic partnership is allowing us to launch FORGE Hubs, which will be training centers for Christ-followers and church planters.  This week we will prayerfully be opening up FORGE Hubs in:

• Albuquerquee, NM
• El Paso, TX
• Detroit, MI
• Tallahassee, FL
