When Matt heard the vision of NewThing at the Multi-Site Practicum he knew God was calling him to plant a reproducing church in Southern California. After connecting with NewThing staff, Matt and his wife Kristen decided to move from California to Naperville, Illinois with their three children to apprentice for 8 months under Brad Prunty, COMMUNITY’s Plainfield Campus Pastor. Matt writes, “We have an opportunity to see a true transformation happen in Thousand Oaks and throughout Ventura County as people live out the mission that Jesus called us to. My dream is to lead this movement by teaching the truth about Jesus Christ and reproducing leaders like crazy so that more people can find their way back to God.”
