REUNION to start 2nd Location

Incredible things happening at NewThing Church plant, REUNION in Boston MA (via Hank Wilson, Lead Pastor)

We are blessed at REUNION! The stories of redemption and life change over the last five years are countless! We love helping people find their way back to God and dream about seeing it happen more! Last month, we unveiled the vision of starting a new location in the Somerville area of greater Boston to our entire community. Imagine, in one of the least churched and least christian cities in the nation, REUNION is on the verge of starting a second location!

Joel Daniels, along with his wife Heather and daughter Abigail, joined our team as a Leadership Resident in September 2011 to learn church planting and our leadership culture. Joel has done a great job and  we are confident he is the right guy to lead our second location!  Joel and Heather

We are praying about the exact start date but the window is between October 2011 and February 2012. The biggest issue right now is securing the start-up capital. Starting new churches continues to be the most effective way to reach new people. Multiple locations is one of the most cost effective ways to start new churches. Our Somerville location start up cost will be a mere fraction of the start-up cost of our Back Bay location at approximately $76,000!

We have told our community we are looking for spiritual entrepreneurs to go to Somerville and be a part of the new leadership team there. However, you don't have to live in Boston to be a spiritual entrepreneur and help our Somerville location get started!

We need people who will pray and give!

To help us reach this goal we are taking up a special offering on July 17th. We are asking all who consider REUNION their church home, all of our alumni, and even past supporters to pray about giving generously to help us better reach our city.

Will you help us make this vision of a second location happen? Thanks for all you've done and will do to help people find their way back to God here in Boston!

Hank Wilson
Lead Pastor
