Jon Ferguson

Jon and his wife, Lisa, grew up in the Chicago area and yes, he bleeds Cubby Blue. He loves to read, talk and dream about anything related to developing leaders and starting new faith communities. He co-founded Community Christian Church  who’s mission is to “help people find their way back to God” and NewThing , a mission “to catalyze a movement of reproducing churches.”  He is on Community’s lead team, teaching team, and provides direction for Community’s Ministry Champions.  When he’s not doing the church thing or the NewThing, he enjoys all sorts of sports as well as reading, running, and writing. He co-authored his most recent book with his brother, Dave - Exponential: How You and Your Friends Can Start a Missional Church Movement.  Jon and Lisa recently moved to the north side of Chicago with their two children - Graham and Chloe.

Tammy Melchien

Tammy Melchien is the Campus Pastor for our COMMUNITY – Lincoln Square site launching in March 2011. After serving 6 years in campus ministry at Eastern Illinois University, Tammy has been on the COMMUNITY staff for the past 8 years. She loves to identify, develop, and release leaders for the Reproducing Church Movement. She’s also an avid sports fan and may spend summer evenings trying to catch Cubbie homeruns out on Waveland Ave.

Rich and Dori Gorman

Rich and Dori are soon-to-be graduates of Emmanuel School of Religion in East Tennessee.  They joined COMMUNITY in September 2010 in preparation for the second downtown Chicago campus.   Rich and Dori are the campus pastors for this new campus - COMMUNITY Edgewater - kicking off in Fall 2011.  Married for three years, Rich and Dori, both love good music, art, reading, preaching, running, serving and talking about Jesus - though perhaps not all at once!  They're looking forward to seeing what God does in Edgewater.
